Even though years ago when they updated the game to its current form they took away my purchases and refused to refund me, I still return occasionally because, in theory, this is a perfect game type for me. But every aspect of the game is built from the ground up to squeeze players for everything they're worth. 90% of gameplay is ads - if you don't "choose" to watch enough rewarded ads, they force unrewarded ads on you. Every time I give Hyper Hippo another chance, I regret wasting the time.

Idle clicker without the clicker. It's okay, but other games do this far better. It gets stale REALLY fast, and watching ads soon becomes the only way to progress - ads can get you millions of a high tier buildings that would ordinarily take days to acquire. Their ad-skip package also doesn't work for all ads. Opponents in tournaments also seem simulated to encourage purchases. Don't fall for this tripe!

genuinely one of the most predatory ad games in the market. if u choose the ad reward this is the only game ive ever played that runs the same ad 3 times. thats a 90 sec add AND THEN u still have 2 x screens. hyperhippo will reply and say "we have no control over third party apps" then please explain why you are the only game on the whole play store that has ads that play 3 times in a row of the same ad. ridiculous, other than that this game is great no qualms otherwise.
